Chef John Antinore:
The “A” in A. Craft Chocolate stands for Antinore. Owner and chocolate maker, John Antinore, is a 2002 Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park grad and has been working as a Pastry Chef in Rochester, NY for the last 22 years. He knew from a young age that chocolate was his life's passion.
In his career he’s traveled from Hawaii to Switzerland and from coast to coast in the continental US chasing his interest in chocolate. From visiting cacao bean farms on Oahu and Kauai, taking chocolate classes in Switzerland (and all over the US), and visiting many, many chocolate makers, chocolate shops, and working hands on with chocolate, the learning never ends. His many years of working with chocolate and tasting many other brands of bean-to-bar, has inspired him to learn the craft of making chocolate. We hope you enjoy our small batch, single origin, hand crafted chocolate bars.
Future plans include collaborations with local breweries, wineries and businesses on custom blends and bars unique to them. Interested in your very own batch or blend? Batches range from 55-65 bars!
